The benefits of Virtual Reality
Virtual reality brings a radical change to the impact of training sessions
The advantages of Virtual Reality are twofold: it is destabilising and safe. It generates a high level of Emotional Engagement, which stimulates the intellect and the body... and therefore memory retention!
Our VR is multiplayer. It's all about communicating out loud.
"It's not finance, strategy or technology, but teamwork that remains the ultimate competitive advantage, because it's so powerful and so rare."
Patrick Lencioni
What are the benefits compared to traditional training?
- True-life and immersive scenarios
- The unusual format both destabilises and enthuses each participant (individualisation)
- Involvement of the senses and interaction create an intense and authentic reaction
- The impact on memory is greatly increased.
Memorisation through a combination of the senses:
The results showed an overall improvement in memory accuracy thanks to VR.
In addition, the vast majority of participants said that they preferred the immersive environment for memorisation.
Memorising through emotion:
Stimulating situations using VR combine emotion with the other senses.
Emotions perceived as positive will foster the memorisation process. Why is this? Because we feel some kind of gratification. So we activate our reward circuit [...] also known as the positive reinforcement circuit.
